Unauthorized Email Collection Refusal
Article 1 Purpose
This agreement aims to stipulate the terms and procedures for using services (hereinafter referred to as 'services') provided by GJMEDI INC. (hereinafter referred to as 'GJMEDI INC.'), and other necessary matters.
Article 2 (Effectiveness and Amendment of the Agreement)
- ① This agreement becomes effective when its contents are posted on the service screen and the user expresses consent on the service screen.
- ② 'GJMEDI INC.' may amend this agreement if a reasonable cause arises. When the agreement is amended, the effective date and reason for amendment will be specified and announced on the initial screen of the service along with the current agreement, and it will take effect in the same manner as in Paragraph 1. However, if a user who has agreed to the old terms continues to use 'GJMEDI INC.'s services after the effective date of the amended terms, it shall be deemed that the user has consented to the amended terms.
- ③ Users may stop using the service and withdraw their membership if they do not agree to the amended terms.
Article 3 (Rules other than the Agreement)
Matters not specified in this agreement shall be governed by relevant laws if stipulated therein; otherwise, they shall be governed by the Electronic Transaction Consumer Protection Guidelines and relevant laws or general practices established by the government.
Article 4 (Definition of Terms)
The definitions of terms used in this agreement are as follows:
- 1. Service: Refers to the 'GJMEDI INC.' website.
- 2. User: Refers collectively to those who receive services provided by 'GJMEDI INC.', and users consist of individual members.
- 3. Individual Member: A person who provides personal information and registers as a service member, and can receive information related to 'GJMEDI INC.'.
Article 5 (Formation of Use Agreement)
- 1. The use agreement is formed by 'GJMEDI INC.'s acceptance of the user's application for use and the user's agreement to the terms of the agreement.
- 2. Individuals or companies wishing to subscribe to membership and use the service must provide the information requested by 'GJMEDI INC.'.
- 3. 'GJMEDI INC.' may not accept or cancel acceptance of applications for use agreements that fall under any of the following
subparagraphs:
- a. When applying using another person's name
- b. When falsely stating the contents of the use agreement application form
- c. When applying with the purpose of hindering social peace and order or public morals
Article 6 (Consent to Use Member Information)
- 1. 'GJMEDI INC.' values and manages users' personal information carefully. You can confirm personal information protection through the personal information processing policy.
- 2. Purpose of personal information collection and use: The personal information of users that the Company requests to be provided upon signing up for services provided by 'GJMEDI INC.' is collected and used for the purpose of fulfilling this service agreement and providing services under this service agreement.
- 3. Use for other purposes, provision, and sharing with third parties: User information may be provided to companies affiliated with the Company to allow users to conveniently use services provided by the Company and its affiliates. However, the Company must notify the user in advance of the affiliated company, purpose of provision, and content of the member information to be provided, and obtain the user's consent before providing the information.
- 4. Access and correction of personal information: Users can access and modify their personal information at any time through member information modification. This is entirely managed by the user through ID and password. Therefore, you should not disclose your ID and password to others, and when your work is finished, you must log out and close the web browser window. (This is necessary for information protection when using a computer in public places such as internet cafes or libraries where computers are shared with others.)
- 5. Consent to the collection of personal information: When a user fills in user information on the application form and applies for use in accordance with the terms of 'GJMEDI INC.', it is considered that the user agrees to 'GJMEDI INC.' collecting, using, and providing the user information stated in the application form in accordance with these terms.
- 6. Retention and use period of personal information: When personal information is collected from users, the retention and use period shall be from the time the user directly applied for membership until the time the user expresses their intention to terminate and the termination is processed. When a user requests to withdraw from 'GJMEDI INC.' membership, personal information will be destroyed without delay. However, even if the purpose of collection or the purpose of receipt has been achieved, if there is a necessity to preserve personal information according to legal provisions such as the Commercial Act, the user's personal information may be retained.
Article 7 (Service Use and Restrictions)
- 1. Service use is, in principle, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, unless there are special business or technical difficulties for 'GJMEDI INC.'.
- 2. Notwithstanding the provisions of Paragraph 1, 'GJMEDI INC.' may exceptionally restrict service use if necessary, such as for regular system inspections.
Article 8 (Obligations of 'GJMEDI INC.')
- 1. 'GJMEDI INC.' must maintain appropriate facilities for continuous and stable service provision, and if a service facility fails or becomes unusable, it shall repair or restore the facility.
- 2. 'GJMEDI INC.' shall not disclose or distribute user's personal information known in connection with service provision to third parties without the user's consent. However, if a user negligently leaks personal information, 'GJMEDI INC.' shall not be held responsible.
- 3. Notwithstanding Paragraph 2, this shall not apply if a national agency requests it in accordance with relevant laws, or if a warrant issued by a judge is presented for investigative purposes.
- 4. If there are changes or additions to the service terms, 'GJMEDI INC.' shall announce such matters on the service screen.
Article 9 (Obligations of Users)
- 1. Users shall not commit any of the following acts when using the service:
- a. Illegally using other users' information
- b. Reproducing information obtained through the service, or using it for publication, broadcasting, etc., or providing it to third parties without prior consent from 'GJMEDI INC.'
- c. Defaming or slandering other users or third parties, or damaging their reputation
- d. Distributing information, sentences, or graphics that violate public order and morals to others
- e. Acts judged to be linked to anti-national, anti-social, or criminal activities
- f. Infringing on the copyrights or other rights of other users or third parties
- g. Continuously transmitting promotional information or acts that hinder the stable operation of the service, such as posting content, or other acts contrary to sound service use
- h. Other acts that violate relevant laws
- 2. Users shall comply with the matters stipulated in this agreement and the service usage guide or precautions.
- 3. User-installed terminals, etc., must comply with the standards set forth in the rules concerning the technical standards of telecommunications facilities and must not interfere with the service.
Article 10 (Responsibility for Service Use)
- 1. All management responsibility for user IDs and passwords rests with the user.
- 2. Unless there is a clear reason, the user may not share, transfer, or change the ID.
- 3. All responsibility for negligence in service use or unauthorized use by a third party caused by the ID assigned to the user rests with the user.
- 4. User membership information written during membership registration can be modified at any time, but unique information such as name, ID, and business registration number cannot be changed.
Article 11 (Restriction and Suspension of Service Provision)
- 1. 'GJMEDI INC.' may suspend service provision in cases falling under any of the following subparagraphs:
- a. In unavoidable cases due to repair or construction of service facilities
- b. When a key telecommunications business operator as stipulated in the Telecommunications Business Act suspends telecommunications services
- 2. In cases where war, contingency, natural disaster, or a comparable national emergency occurs or is likely to occur, or in other unavoidable circumstances such as a key telecommunications business operator under the Telecommunications Business Act suspending telecommunications services, all or part of the service may be restricted or suspended.
Article 12 (Deletion of User Posts and Restriction of Service Use)
- 1. 'GJMEDI INC.' may delete content posted or registered by users as needed if it is determined that there is no spare capacity in the service facilities.
- 2. 'GJMEDI INC.' may partially restrict users' service use if it is determined that there is no spare capacity in the service facilities.
- 3. 'GJMEDI INC.' may delete content within the service posted or registered by users without prior notice if it is determined that the
content falls under any of the following subparagraphs:
- a. Illegally using another user's ID
- b. Defaming or slandering another user or third party, or damaging their reputation
- c. Distributing information, sentences, or graphics that violate public order and morals
- d. Acts judged to be linked to anti-national, anti-social, or criminal activities
- e. Infringing on the copyrights or other rights of other users or third parties
- f. When the posting period exceeds the stipulated period
- g. Other acts determined to violate relevant laws
Article 13 (Restriction and Termination of Service Use Agreement)
- 1. When a user wishes to terminate the service use agreement, they must submit a withdrawal request.
- 2. 'GJMEDI INC.' may terminate the service agreement or suspend service provision for a period of up to one month without prior notice
if the user falls under any of the following subparagraphs:
- a. When using another person's user ID
- b. When intentionally interfering with the operation of the service
- c. When intentionally distributing content that harms public order and morals
- d. When harming another person's reputation or causing disadvantage
- e. When otherwise deemed inappropriate as a service user
Article 14 (Rights to Posted Materials)
The rights to materials posted on the service are as follows:
- 1. The rights and responsibilities for posts belong to the poster, and 'GJMEDI INC.' may not use them for commercial purposes without the poster's consent. However, in the case of non-commercial purposes, 'GJMEDI INC.' may use them without the poster's consent and has the right to publish them within the service.
- 2. Without the poster's prior consent, users may not use materials posted on the service for commercial purposes, including processing or selling information obtained through the service.
